Ingredients

🦐 200g shrimp, peeled and deveined

🍣 200g salmon fillet, skin removed and cut into chunks

🧄 4 cloves garlic, minced

🧈 2 tablespoons butter

🧄 1 teaspoon olive oil

🧂 1/2 teaspoon salt

🌶 1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper

🍋 Juice of 1/2 lemon

🍝 300g fettuccine pasta

🧀 1 cup Parmesan cheese, grated

🥛 1 cup heavy cream

🧃 1/2 cup chicken broth

🌿 Fresh parsley, chopped for garnish


Instructions

1- Prepare the Pasta:

  • In a large pot of boiling salted water, cook the fettuccine according to the package instructions until al dente.

  • Drain and set aside.

2- Cook the Seafood:

  • In a large skillet over medium heat, add the olive oil and butter.

  • Once melted, add the minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.

  • Add the shrimp and salmon to the skillet.

  • Season with salt, pepper, and lemon juice.

  • Cook for 3-4 minutes until the shrimp are pink and the salmon is opaque.

  • Remove the seafood from the skillet and set aside.

3- Make the Alfredo Sauce:

  • In the same skillet, pour in the chicken broth and heavy cream.

  • Stir gently and allow it to simmer for about 5 minutes.

  • Gradually add the grated Parmesan cheese, stirring continuously until the cheese is melted and the sauce becomes thick and creamy.

4- Combine:

  • Add the cooked fettuccine to the Alfredo sauce, tossing to ensure all the pasta is coated.

  • Gently return the shrimp and salmon to the skillet, incorporating them into the pasta and sauce.

5- Serve:

  • Garnish with freshly chopped parsley and a sprinkle of additional Parmesan cheese if desired.

  • Serve hot.
