Ingredients
🦐 200g shrimp, peeled and deveined
🍣 200g salmon fillet, skin removed and cut into chunks
🧄 4 cloves garlic, minced
🧈 2 tablespoons butter
🧄 1 teaspoon olive oil
🧂 1/2 teaspoon salt
🌶 1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
🍋 Juice of 1/2 lemon
🍝 300g fettuccine pasta
🧀 1 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
🥛 1 cup heavy cream
🧃 1/2 cup chicken broth
🌿 Fresh parsley, chopped for garnish
Instructions
1- Prepare the Pasta:
In a large pot of boiling salted water, cook the fettuccine according to the package instructions until al dente.
Drain and set aside.
2- Cook the Seafood:
In a large skillet over medium heat, add the olive oil and butter.
Once melted, add the minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
Add the shrimp and salmon to the skillet.
Season with salt, pepper, and lemon juice.
Cook for 3-4 minutes until the shrimp are pink and the salmon is opaque.
Remove the seafood from the skillet and set aside.
3- Make the Alfredo Sauce:
In the same skillet, pour in the chicken broth and heavy cream.
Stir gently and allow it to simmer for about 5 minutes.
Gradually add the grated Parmesan cheese, stirring continuously until the cheese is melted and the sauce becomes thick and creamy.
4- Combine:
Add the cooked fettuccine to the Alfredo sauce, tossing to ensure all the pasta is coated.
Gently return the shrimp and salmon to the skillet, incorporating them into the pasta and sauce.
5- Serve:
Garnish with freshly chopped parsley and a sprinkle of additional Parmesan cheese if desired.
Serve hot.
