Ingredients

For the Yummy Sauce:
🥄 1/3 cup mayonnaise
🍅 4 tablespoons ketchup
🧂 Onion powder (to taste)
🧄 Garlic powder (to taste)
🌶️ Paprika (to taste)
🌶️ Cayenne pepper (to taste, optional for spice)
🍬 1 tablespoon sugar
🧈 1 tablespoon melted butter

For the Hibachi:
🥩 Steak (seasoned to taste)
🍤 Shrimp (seasoned to taste)
🥕 Mixed vegetables (including peas and carrots)
🥒 1 zucchini
🧅 1/2 onion

Instructions

1- Prepare the Yummy Sauce:

  • In a bowl, combine the mayonnaise and ketchup.
  • Add onion powder, garlic powder, paprika, cayenne pepper, and sugar.
  • Stir in melted butter and adjust consistency with more mayonnaise or a splash of water if necessary.
  • Chill in the refrigerator until the hibachi meal is ready to serve.

2- Prepare the Vegetables:

  • Slice zucchini into three sections and dice into bite-sized pieces.
  • Cut onion in half, then into long strips for cooking.

3- Cook the Steak and Shrimp:

  • Preheat a skillet or grill over medium-high heat.
  • Sear seasoned steak for 3-4 minutes on each side or until desired doneness is achieved. Remove from skillet and let rest.
  • Cook the shrimp in the same skillet until pink and opaque, about 2-3 minutes per side.

4- Cook the Vegetables:

  • In a separate pan, sauté the mixed vegetables, zucchini, and onion until tender and slightly caramelized, about 5-7 minutes.

5- Serve:

  • Arrange the cooked steak, shrimp, and vegetables on a platter.
  • Serve warm with the chilled Yummy Sauce on the side. Enjoy your homemade hibachi feast!
