Ingredients

🫑 1 green bell pepper, sliced
🫑 1 red bell pepper, sliced
🧅 1 onion, sliced
🥩 8 slices of Steak-umm sliced steaks
🧂 1 tablespoon seasoning of your choice
🧀 1 cup shredded cheese (Cheddar and Mozzarella mix)
🍞 1 pack King's Hawaiian Original Sweet Pretzel Slider Buns
🍶 1/2 cup creamy sauce of your choice (store-bought or homemade)

Instructions

1- Prep the Vegetables:

  • Wash and slice the green and red bell peppers and onion into thin strips for even cooking.

2- Sauté the Vegetables:

  • In a large pan over medium heat, add a splash of oil.
  • Once heated, add the sliced green and red bell peppers.
  • Sauté for about 3 minutes.

3- Add the Onions:

  • Add the sliced onions to the pepper.
  • Continue to sauté for another 3-5 minutes until the vegetables are softened and slightly translucent.

4- Cook the Steak-umm:

  • Push the vegetables to one side of the pan and place the Steak-umm slices in.
  • Gently chop and stir as it cooks, about 2-4 minutes.

5- Season and Combine:

  • Generously add your seasoning of choice to the meat and vegetable mixture.
  • Stir to evenly coat everything.

6- Add the Cheese:

  • Top the mixture with shredded cheddar and mozzarella cheese.
  • Lower the heat and cover the pan to allow the cheese to melt, about 2 minutes.

7- Prepare the Buns:

  • Slice the pretzel slider buns in half horizontally.
  • Optionally, you can lightly toast them for extra texture.

8- Assemble the Sliders:

  • Spoon the cheesy meat and vegetable mixture onto the bottom half of each bun.
  • Drizzle your creamy sauce over the top of the mixture.

9- Finish and Serve:

  • Place the top half of the pretzel buns over the filling.
