This delicious Spicy Salmon Spaghetti combines tender chunks of salmon with a savory Alfredo sauce and roasted red peppers over a bed of perfectly cooked spaghetti. Ingredients

🍝 250g spaghetti
🐟 300g salmon fillet, skinless and cut into chunks
🌶️ 1 teaspoon chili flakes
🧄 3 cloves garlic, minced
🫒 2 tablespoons olive oil
🍋 Juice of half a lemon
🥫 1 cup Alfredo sauce
🌶 1/2 cup roasted red bell peppers, sliced
🌿 A handful of fresh basil leaves, torn
🧂 Salt to taste
🧄 Freshly ground black pepper to taste

Instructions

1- Prepare the Pasta:

Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the spaghetti and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Reserve 1 cup of pasta water, then drain and set aside.

2- Cook the Salmon:

Heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the salmon chunks and season with salt and pepper. Cook for about 4-5 minutes, gently turning until the salmon is cooked through and golden brown on the outside. Remove the salmon from the pan and set aside.

3- Make the Sauce:

In the same skillet, add the remaining tablespoon of olive oil.
Add the minced garlic and chili flakes, and cook for an additional minute until fragrant.
Pour in the Alfredo sauce and roasted red bell peppers, bringing the mixture to a gentle simmer. Season with salt and pepper.
Let the sauce cook for about 5 minutes, allowing the flavors to meld together.

4- Combine:

Add the cooked spaghetti and salmon back into the skillet with the Alfredo sauce.
Toss everything together, adding a bit of the reserved pasta water if the sauce is too thick.
Stir in the lemon juice and fresh basil leaves.
