Elevate your Valentine’s Day breakfast or brunch with this delightful fusion of classic French toast and rich, creamy strawberry cheesecake. Perfect for a special morning treat, this dish offers a beautiful blend of sweet and tangy flavors, garnished with vibrant berries for an added burst of color and freshness.

Ingredients

🍓 1 cup strawberries, sliced
🧀 2 blocks cream cheese, softened
🍦 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
🥚 3 eggs
🥛 1 cup milk
🧂 1 teaspoon cinnamon
🍞 6 brioche buns
🧈 2 tablespoons butter
🫐 1/2 cup blueberries
🍬 Powdered sugar, for dusting

Instructions

1- Prepare the Filling:

  • Slice the strawberries.
  • In a blender, combine the cream cheese, half of the sliced strawberries, and vanilla extract. Blend until smooth and creamy.

2- Prepare the Egg Mixture:

  • In a mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, and cinnamon until well combined.

3- Prepare the Brioche:

  • Slice the brioche buns in half horizontally to create the base for the French toast.

4- Dip & Cook the French Toast:

  • Heat butter in a frying pan over medium heat.
  • Dip each brioche bun half into the egg mixture, ensuring both sides are coated but not overly soaked.
  • Place the dipped buns into the hot pan and cook until golden brown on both sides, about 3-4 minutes per side.

5- Assemble the Dish:

  • Once each slice is cooked, remove from heat and place on a serving plate.
  • Generously spread the strawberry cheesecake filling over each piece of French toast.
  • Top with the remaining sliced strawberries and blueberries.
  • Finish with a light dusting of powdered sugar for added sweetness and presentation.
