Ingredients
π¦ 200g shrimp, peeled and deveined
π£ 200g salmon fillet, skinless, cut into bite-sized pieces
π 250g noodles of your choice
π§ 4 cloves of garlic, minced
π§ 2 tablespoons butter
π« 1 tablespoon olive oil
πΆοΈ 1 tablespoon Cajun seasoning
π§ Salt, to taste
π§ 1 cup heavy cream
π§ 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
πΏ 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
π 1 tablespoon lemon juice
π₯ 1/2 cup chicken or vegetable broth
Instructions
1- Prepare the Noodles:
- In a large pot of boiling salted water, cook the noodles according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
2- SautΓ© the Seafood:
- Season the shrimp and salmon pieces with Cajun seasoning and a pinch of salt.
- In a large skillet over medium-high heat, add the olive oil and 1 tablespoon of butter. Once the butter has melted and is sizzling, add the shrimp and cook for 2-3 minutes until pink and opaque. Remove the shrimp and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add the salmon pieces and cook for 3-4 minutes until browned on each side. Remove and set aside with the shrimp.
3- Make the Creamy Garlic Sauce:
- Reduce the heat to medium and add the remaining tablespoon of butter to the skillet. Once melted, add the minced garlic and sautΓ© until fragrant, about 1 minute.
- Pour in the chicken or vegetable broth, scraping up any browned bits from the bottom of the skillet.
- Stir in the heavy cream and bring it to a gentle simmer. Allow it to cook for 2-3 minutes until slightly thickened.
4- Combine Everything:
- Add the Parmesan cheese, stirring until melted and the sauce is smooth. Squeeze in the lemon juice for a touch of brightness.
- Return the shrimp and salmon to the skillet, ensuring they are coated with the sauce. Gently fold in the noodles and toss everything together to coat in the creamy mixture.
- Garnish with fresh parsley and adjust the seasoning with salt if needed.
