For the Chicken:
๐ 2 Chicken breasts
๐ง 1 Packet ranch seasoning
๐ฟ 1 Tablespoon chicken seasoning
๐ถ๏ธ 1 Teaspoon Cajun seasoning
๐ง 1 Teaspoon paprika
๐ง 1 Teaspoon garlic powder
๐ง
1 Teaspoon onion powder
๐ถ๏ธ 1 Teaspoon sazon
๐ถ๏ธ 1 Teaspoon chipotle chili powder
๐ถ๏ธ 1 Teaspoon chili powder
๐ง 1 Teaspoon adobo seasoning
๐ฅ 1 Egg
๐ฅ 1 Cup buttermilk
๐พ 1 Cup all-purpose flour
For the Sauce:
๐ถ๏ธ 1/2 Cup Frankโs hot sauce
๐ฅ 1/2 Cup mayonnaise
๐ง 1 Packet ranch seasoning
๐ถ๏ธ 1/2 Teaspoon red pepper flakes
๐ถ๏ธ 1/2 Teaspoon cayenne pepper
๐ฟ 1 Teaspoon parsley
For Assembly:
๐ Brioche buns
๐ฅ Pickles
๐ง Butter or ๐ซ Olive oil for toasting buns
Instructions
1- Prep the Chicken:
- In a bowl, combine the ranch seasoning, chicken seasoning, Cajun seasoning, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, sazon, chipotle chili powder, chili powder, and adobo seasoning.
- Pat the chicken breasts dry and coat them well with the spice mixture.
2- Marinate:
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the egg and buttermilk.
- Add the seasoned chicken breasts into the buttermilk mixture, ensuring they are fully submerged. Let them marinate for about 30 minutes.
3- Prepare the Sauce:
- In another bowl, mix Frankโs hot sauce, mayonnaise, ranch seasoning, red pepper flakes, cayenne pepper, and parsley.
- Adjust seasoning to taste. Set aside.
4- Coat & Fry:
- Heat oil in a pan until hot.
- Dredge marinated chicken in flour thatโs been seasoned (using some of the leftover spice mixture).
- Gently place in the hot oil and fry until golden brown and cooked through, about 5-6 minutes per side, depending on thickness.
5- Toast the Buns:
- In a separate pan, melt butter or add olive oil and a sprinkle of parsley.
- Toast the brioche buns until golden.
6- Assemble the Sandwich:
- Spread a generous amount of the prepared sauce on both sides of the brioche buns.
- Place the fried chicken on the bottom half of the bun.
- Add pickles on top of the chicken, then cover with the top half of the bun.
