Ingredients

Instructions
1- Prepare the Chicken:
- In a medium bowl, whisk together the buttermilk and egg.
- Add the chicken pieces and let them marinate for about 15-20 minutes in the refrigerator.
2- Prepare the Coating:
- In another bowl, mix together the flour, corn starch, garlic powder, onion powder, Cajun seasoning, paprika, black pepper, and cayenne pepper.
3- Coat the Chicken:
- Remove the chicken from the buttermilk mixture, allowing any excess to drip off.
- Dredge the chicken pieces in the flour mixture, ensuring they are fully coated.
- Shake off any excess coating.
4- Cook the Chicken:
- In a large skillet or deep fryer, heat vegetable oil to 350ยฐF (175ยฐC).
- Fry the chicken in batches, being careful not to overcrowd the pan.
